DESCRIPTION
Each MT- device connects to the back plane PC board via its DB-25 RS-232
connector. Power is supplied through pins 9 & 10. The rear of the back plane
provides DB-25 female connections for the RS-232 cables as well as screw
terminal lugs for two-wire (TDI) connections. There is no need to disconnect the
cable when the units are changed or added.
The MT-Nest concept offers excellent redundancy since each unit operates
independently and does not share any electronics, except one easily changed
wall mount transformer. One transformer can operate up to eight units and
spares are inexpensive.
The mounting depth can be adjusted along with the type of mounting, simply by
twisting the "ears" on the unit.
