DESCRIPTION
This USB to Serial converter allows serial devices to be connected to your PC's USB port or USB hub. It connects using a USB type A to a DB-9 male serial connector all neatly built into a 16" cable assembly.

The converter has general industry application. We use it to connect any of the CPS "Base Units" that have serial port control to the USB port of a controlling PC. Note that the "filtered adapter" CA9R11-IPN-F is still required for the Base Units that have a RJ-11 serial port (power strips). It connects to the 9 pin connector on the USB device.

The supporting software is easy to configure and compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Apple. All that is required is a Pentium class PC with a USB port.
