DESCRIPTION

  • Compatible with Unisys TC Hubs
  • Compatible with SuperGen Ports
  • Adds Distances up to 1200 Feet
  • Multiple Units For Greater Distances
  • Transparent to Data Rates

The TB-101 is a Unisys CTOS TeleCluster line booster. It is designed to extend the operational distance of the two-wire CTOS TeleCluster terminal lines.

The TB-101 is compatible with Unisys TeleCluster hubs and adaptors or the internal TeleCluster port on the SG SuperGen series machines. It is normally used in the middle of a long cable run where a known good signal from a TeleCluster hub is occurring. It will double the normal 1200' TeleCluster cabling length restriction. Multiple units may be used in series to further extend the cable distance. It is transparent to the line speed and will operate at any of the common CTOS data rates.

The unit has two eight pin RJ-45 female connectors that will also accept six pin RJ-11 male plugs. Three LEDs are used to monitor power and the data flow through the unit. A 9VAC wall mount transformer is used to supply power.
